Heaven on Earth 

– Blue Waters

They say “Heaven on Earth” is a  rare experience – the kind of feeling  Vibrant Chand gets when she starts  her new life in Canada in the movie  “Heaven on Earth”. I always  thought of that feeling as sort of  superficial and larger than life too.

Until recently…

When I visited or rather,  experienced, “Blue Waters “ – the  latest project of Prime Meridian. Now when I say, that Blue Waters  actually seems like heaven on earth, it feels like an understatement. Why?

To begin with, it is set amidst Kochi’s pride - the beautiful backwaters. If that’s not breath-taking enough, it brings with it a whole new meaning for luxury! With the kind of amenities that each unit in the project has, it’s only going to be a matter of time before you get spoilt for good.

To top it all, there’s the Prime Meridian promise of strong and sturdy buildings, not to mention the magic of their architects.

Each of these villas and apartments, have a private lift facility, and also a private marina to dock speed boats and yachts. Apart from these, there are aquatic recreational activities, water scooter and speed launch facilities, an indoor squash court and play area, and a helipad, all on top of the regular luxury amenities like a swimming pool and a health club. Talk about luxury!

The Exotic interiors!

 As I entered a  villa, I was struck by the perfection with which the interiors were designed and furnished. Every single detail seemed to blend in perfectly with the architecture, making it a true masterpiece.
Here’s what makes it so special:

Centralised Air Conditioning units
Each villa and apartment enjoys centralised air conditioning, which frees families from the burden of having to switch temperatures in each room, and turning off or turning on the ACs as and when they use each room.

The magnificence that is the flooring

The floors are done in hardwood with a combination of Italian marble, thus bringing the best of both worlds. While hardwood flooring provides better hygiene and keeps your house warm during winters, the Italianmarble gives a luxurious lustre and visual appeal.

The true essence of the “heaven”

What gives the entire stay in Blue Waters a “heavenly” feeling is indeed the list of luxurious amenities within each villa and apartment too, apart from the general amenities. Families get a vertical garden of their own, and a specially designed water body! Now, don’t complain if your guests keep coming home or won’t leave!
Besides adding to your home’s aesthetic value, these amenities give you the actual feeling of a luxurious living experience. It would be like you are on holiday every day!

In the rooms....
The bedrooms are equipped with luxurious beds and matching bed linen, along with coats as well as wardrobes. There’s not a thing missed, to give you a peaceful and private ambiance.

The kitchens, I would say, are the epitome of luxury, with exclusive imported nolte kitchen fittings from Germany. Now I don’t think you would put off cooking as a chore in these kinds of kitchens. It would be more of a celebration, don’t you think?

The bathrooms too, do not fall behind in luxury. With exclusive state-of-the-art fittings from Kohler, don’t be surprised if you find yourself spending more time in your bathrooms than anywhere else!

Apart from these, there are also private lifts for each apartment as I mentioned before, with complete generator backup. So there is no question of a power failure! Now isn’t that quite a privilege considering the frequent power related issues in Kochi?

So that was about the interiors. Pretty much summing it all up, you can feel the magic as you enter – the magnificence and grandeur of the architecture and the furnishings. Be it the colours used or the textures or just the entire ambience, they all speak volumes about the expertise involved in the whole project.

Didn’t I tell you that “Heaven on Earth” was an understatement?
